THE MUSIC
Redbud plays original, high-energy dance music, influenced by a range of styles: mostly rock, with a touch of blues, reggae, pop, psychedelic rock and punk. It’s obvious when you hear Redbud that the band members have a lot of fun, and enjoy writing, playing music and singing together.
Redbud’s groove is highly danceable, the lyrics clever, wide ranging, and thoughtful, and their stage presence is energetic and fun!
THE BAND
As you can see above, Redbud is playing in 2 forms, one as a 4 piece with Yoli Rose on rhythm guitar and vocals, Bob Dress on bass and vocals, Mike Z on guitar and vocals and Clay Brennan on drums. We also play as a trio, with Yoli Rose, Bob Dress, & Tobin Hendricks on drums.
HISTORY
Redbud formed in late 2000, originally as a 4 piece band,  with a few changes in musicians over time. Redbud has recorded 3 CDs: “Smoke & Mirrors”, “Feels So Good”, and “Open Road”.

They were winners in the K-WINE Homegrown Tones radio contest two years in a row. Redbud plays many venues, (electric or acoustic) in Mendocino, Lake, Napa, and Sonoma counties, and also enjoys playing for parties and events.
